Hip Hop
contains street wise jazz or contemporary jazz considered hip hop or funk. This class is offered to students ages 8 & up.

Jazz
is a dance form rooted in Ballet, but is less restrictive. Jazz dance allows freedom of movement and self expression. The goal of Jazz is to develop muscular strength, flexibility and coordination. These high-energy classes make learning fun!

Ballet
is the most disciplined dance form. The art of Ballet is a wonderful forum for teaching poise and grace while strengthening the body. The goal of this class is to teach both technique and terminology. As students advance, lyrical movements are introduced followed by Pointe work for those students who are physically and mentally ready.

Tap
allows students to create rhythmic sounds with their feet helping to develop a sense of timing, tempo and rhythm useful in all dance forms. After the basic steps are mastered, the goal is then to build upon these steps and develop speed, accuracy and versatility.

Lyrical
is a dance form which interrepts the lyrics and mood of a song using a combination of Ballet, Jazz and/or Modern technique. This form includes the use of leg work, balance, flexibility and facial emotion.

Modern
is a style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.

Pre-School classes
will introduce young dancers to basic skills and creative movements. The goal of this class is to develop coordination and rhythm while learning positive socialization skills and building self-confidence. We use music that is fun and give students lots of positive encouragement!
